Background Summary

Marina is a Registered Social Worker and a Psychotherapist and a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Marina completed her Master of Social Work studies at University of Toronto in 2008.
For over 16 years Marina provided individual and family therapy in adult and children mental health centres. Marina has extensive post graduate training and supervision in attachment work, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic
therapy, trauma focused sensorimotor psychotherapy and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Marina specializes in areas of adult attachment, childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, parenting difficulties and emotional
dysregulation. Marina’s work is focused on compassionately exploring and transforming deeply rooted, unsettling patterns in the relationship with self and others. Marina works well with people who are interested in transforming themselves and their relationships rather than those who are focused on symptom reduction alone.
